Leadership Coaching
“I have worked at Stuart’s side with mutual clients and observed how insightful and supportive he is. His questions get to the heart of issues and his observations bring light to truth. Stuart helps people reframe their challenges in a manner that encourages them to refocus attention on moving forward to a more effective future.” Dr. Scott Yorkovich, Revelare Corporation
Stuart's experience providing coach training to
business and ministry leaders offers you the advantage of partnering
with a coach who can help you dynamically enhance your results.
Developing your personnel is possibly the most challenging aspect of
leadership. Adding coaching to your leadership toolkit will take this
responsibility to a new level while simultaneously increasing your value
to the organization.
Whether you're a solopreneur, entrepreneur, executive, manager, ministry
leader, or professional coach you need and want someone to partner with
that doesn't have an agenda for you. A partner who listens empathically
and brings out the best in you.
Leaders have...
...VISION
"The very essence of leadership is [that] you have a vision. It's got to
be a vision you articulate clearly and forcefully on every occasion. You
can't blow an uncertain trumpet." Theodore Hesburgh
...PASSION
“A great leader's courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not
position.” John C. Maxwell
...HEART
"Leadership is not so much about technique and methods as it is about
opening the heart. Leadership is about inspiration—of oneself and of
others. Great leadership is about human experiences, not processes.
Leadership is not a formula or a program, it is a human activity that
comes from the heart and considers the hearts of others. It is an
attitude, not a routine.
More than anything else today, followers believe they are part of a
system, a process that lacks heart. If there is one thing a leader can
do to connect with followers at a human, or better still a spiritual
level, it is to become engaged with them fully, to share experiences and
emotions, and to set aside the processes of leadership we have learned
by rote." Lance Secretan
...STRATEGY
Management author and trainer Dr. Stephen Covey has identified the seven
most common leadership problems to watch out for. If your organization
seems ill, look for one or more of these causes:
Lack of clear goals.
Lack of any well-defined plans for achieving the organization’s goals or
mission.
Lack of any kind of organized effort to implement the plans.
The wrong style of leadership—command and control, for example, versus a
more participative atmosphere between workers and management.
Lack of leadership training—leaders don’t have the knowledge or skill
necessary to implement the right leadership styles.
Leaders are seen to lack integrity by not keeping their commitments to
workers, the community, and so on.
Mistrust.
“Coaching is the most important servant/leadership element in helping
people accomplish their goals.” Bill Hybels, Senior Pastor, Willow Creek
Church
